The common rhythm is 2-4 days: arrival and check-in on day one, then 2-4 temples per day by route (denser in the city, 1-2 per day for upcountry temples), with unhurried time at each for veneration and the amulet request. Routes are customized to your wish focus — career, relationships, protection — and stamina, with a day-by-day plan before departure.
You can visit temples independently, but the amulet request itself involves communicating with temple staff, ritual steps and price confirmation — language gaps lead to mistakes or middleman markups. Accompaniment gets you to the right counter, explains etiquette and taboos, and verifies temple information firsthand.
Neither. TaiHuBang provides on-the-ground services only — amulets are requested by you in person at the temple; we do not sell or ship. To buy authentic amulets with individually numbered authentication certificates, visit Merit Messenger (meritmessenger.com) for overseas buyers or TaiZhenFang (taizhenfang.com) in China — both run by the same operator.
Well-known temples in and around Bangkok (Wat Pho, the Golden Buddha and reputable provincial temples) can all be arranged, subject to your wish focus and current temple schedules. Plan 3-4 city temples a day, or 1-2 when crossing provinces — temple runs aren't a checklist; unhurried veneration is the point.
Small personally worn amulets are generally unrestricted; commercial quantities or antique Buddha images need an export license from Thailand's Fine Arts Department, and your home country's personal-effects limits apply on entry. We flag the compliance boundaries during the trip — verify current customs rules on both ends.
